All I have to do is just read the titles, and he's hooked! He sits right down and listening intently. It has great morales with colorful characters and storyline. Very age appropriate. When I was child I enjoyed Enid's book very well. Busy life like in USA my parents was busy everyday so that Enid's book lead me how to find happiness and smile in the mind. A Child must have this book like food for getting enough energy.

One of the best short-story collections for 5-8 yr old girls or boys. The stories sometimes have strange but funny twists.
I grew up in England and Enid Blyton was read by every little girl and those not so little. I was delighted to find her on and promptly ordered several books for my 6yr. old granddaughter. She loves the short stories and we will be starting the chapter books soon. We will definitely be ordering more as her reading advances. Enid Blyton was one of my favorite authors while growing up. Some of her stories are a bit dated now and very English "boarding school?" but that does not interfere with the excitement of the story. So glad I found these books on .
